Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Terms of Service
1. Service Description
Rendry is an image generation SaaS platform that provides visual template editing, JSON API-based image rendering, and asset management. By using Rendry, you agree to these terms.
2. Account & Plans
You need a working email address to register. Your account holds a fixed number of template and asset slots; buying any credit pack raises those slots for good. Renders draw on your credit balance — when it runs out, renders stop until you top it up.
3. Billing & Payments
You buy credit packs one at a time. There is no subscription, nothing renews on its own, and we never charge a card without you starting the purchase. Bought credits stay valid for 365 days from the purchase; the credits we grant a new account last 90 days. Whatever is left after that expires. Prices are shown in USD. Payments are not open yet: no credit pack can be bought today, and this section will name the payment provider before the first purchase.
Credits are a prepaid right to use Rendry and nothing else: they have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account, exchanged or withdrawn; unused credits can only be refunded under the refund policy below.
Refunds. Ask for a refund within 14 calendar days of the payment, through the contact form on the home page, giving the payment date, the amount and your account's email address.
- Unused credits are refunded.
- Credits already spent on images and documents that were produced are not refunded: that service was provided and its result delivered to you.
- If the service was not provided through our fault — the payment went through but no credits arrived, or an image was not produced because of a failure on our side — the full amount is refunded, whatever credits were spent.
We decide within one business day of receiving the request. The money goes back the way it was paid; your bank usually credits it within 10 business days. The same policy is published as a page of its own at rendry.io/refund.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Rendry to generate illegal, harmful, or offensive content. API usage must comply with rate limits. Automated abuse or circumvention of limits will result in account suspension.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to content you create. Rendry retains rights to the platform, templates marked as system-provided, and documentation. User-uploaded assets remain user property.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time: in Settings, on the Account tab, at the bottom. The account closes at once — sign-in stops, API keys stop working, queued renders do not run, and any remaining credits can no longer be spent and go with the data — and your templates, uploaded files, documents and render results are deleted 30 days later. Until that day support can restore the account on request. Payment and credit records are kept for as long as accounting law requires, without your email address or name. Rendry reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Service "as is" and limitation of liability
Rendry is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Features may change and downtime may occur. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rendry's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Rendry is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data.
8. Your content and responsibility
You are responsible for the content you render: text, uploaded images, external image URLs and the rights to use them. Templates may embed third-party photography (for example stock photos); such photos are licensed for use inside rendered images, but no trademark, model or property rights are granted with them. Do not use Rendry to produce content that infringes someone else's rights.
Privacy Policy
1. Data We Collect
We collect your email address, hashed password, uploaded assets, and usage analytics (render counts, API calls). We do not store payment card details — these are handled by payment providers.
If you arrive through a link that carries campaign tags (for example, from an ad: its source, campaign name and click identifier), those tags and the page the link opened are recorded with your account when you sign up, so that we learn which campaigns bring people to Rendry. No cookies or third-party trackers are used for this.
2. Data Processing
Your personal data is processed for service operation, billing, and support. You give your consent to that processing separately, with its own checkbox when you create an account; accepting these terms is not that consent.
3. Data Storage
Data is stored on secure servers. Uploaded assets are stored in S3-compatible object storage with access control. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
4. Your Rights
You can delete the account yourself: sign in, open Settings, the Account tab, and the block at the bottom. To get a copy of your data or correct it — or to delete an account you can no longer sign in to — write to us through the contact form on the home page.
5. Third Parties
We send data only to these recipients, only for the stated purpose and only what is listed:
- Resend — sending letters: address confirmation, the password reset link, the password change notice. Sent: your email address and the text of the service letter.
- Telegram — delivering messages to the operator. Sent: the text of a message sent through the feedback form, with the email address if you gave one; ratings and notes an agent sends through MCP.
- fal.ai — object extraction — only when you run that operation. Sent: the image you ask us to cut an object out of, with its prompt.
- Unsplash — photo search. Sent: the words you search for, without your account data; your browser loads photo previews and the photos you pick from Unsplash servers.
- Pexels — photo search. Sent: the words you search for, without your account data; your browser loads photo previews and the photos you pick from Pexels servers.
The hosting provider whose servers run the service holds what it needs to run it. No data is sold to third parties.
6. Cookies and local storage
Rendry sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. The app uses your browser's localStorage for strictly necessary things: your sign-in session and your editor drafts. Clearing site data signs you out and removes local drafts.
7. Legal bases
We process account and usage data to perform our contract with you (providing the service and billing), to meet legal obligations (accounting and tax records), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and preventing abuse. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time.
8. Storage location and retention
Data is stored on servers operated for Rendry in the Netherlands (Amsterdam). Authenticated rendered files, including test-key files, expire 365 days after completion. Guest files expire 72 hours after batch creation. Uploaded assets are kept while your account is active; account data is deleted 30 days after you delete the account, except records we must retain for accounting purposes, which are kept without your email address or name. If you access the service from outside the Netherlands, be aware your data is processed there.
9. Contact and complaints
To exercise any of your rights, contact the operator through the contact form on the home page. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
